The EcoMobility 2013 Suwon Congress, from 1 to 4 September 2013, brought together local and international actors across the field of sustainable mobility, in the unique context of the EcoMobility World Festival, to discuss, share, collaborate, and spark new ideas.
With around 800 million cars on the road worldwide and as the transport sector is the fastest growing source of greenhouse gas emissions, EcoMobility is more important now than ever. The Congress highlighted the importance of EcoMobility through a myriad of perspectives including local leadership, social inclusion, health, the future generation, and practical application. The Congress underscored EcoMobility as an active concept— something to be applied and developed and shared.
