Event Details
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the organisers of the World Cities Summit (WCS), Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) have been monitoring the situation closely.
With COVID-19 declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation, Singapore and countries worldwide have implemented various restrictions, including on travel and large-scale events. Based on these considerations, we have taken the collective decision to reschedule the three events to 20 – 24 June 2021.
The biennial World Cities Summit (WCS) is an exclusive platform for government leaders and industry experts to address liveable and sustainable city challenges, share integrated urban solutions and forge new partnerships. The theme for WCS 2020 is Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Adapting to a Disrupted World.
In the next decade, cities will face a slew of disruptions arising from climate change, social shifts and new technologies. How cities adapt to these disruptions will be critical for their liveability and sustainability. The World Cities Summit 2020 brings together cities, businesses and experts at the forefront of these issues to discuss how cities can adapt to a disrupted world.
