Sustainable mobility at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 1,750 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development. Active in 100+ countries, we influence sustainability policy and drive local action for low emission, nature-based, equitable, resilient and circular development. Our Members and team of experts work together through peer exchange, partnerships and capacity building to create systemic change for urban sustainability.

Through the Sustainable Mobility agenda, ICLEI supports its Members to provide access to safe, affordable, accessible, resilient, low-emission and sustainable mobility systems to create livable cities that fulfill the mobility needs of all.

Tu My Tran

Head of Sustainable Mobility

Tu My leads the Sustainable Mobility Program at ICLEI, overseeing initiatives towards integrated, socially-inclusive, and environmentally-friendly urban mobility for people and goods. Experienced in partnership building, project management, and workshop facilitation, Tu My has a background in management and international relations. Tu My is proficient in Italian, English, Spanish, and German.

Himanshu Raj

Officer, Sustainable Mobility

Himanshu leads the EcoLogistics initiative in the Sustainable mobility team at ICLEI, guiding and supporting engagement with ICLEI member cities in the decarbonizing freight sector. He has experience working in sustainable urban design & planning, transport planning, water & sanitation management, and smart cities. He has a background in Infrastructure planning (M.Sc.) and Architecture (B.Arch).

Yiqian Zhang

Officer, Sustainable Mobility

Yiqian supports the sustainable mobility agenda at ICLEI. She works with cross-functional teams to support cities to transform the urban logistics scenes and plan for people-friendly and socially inclusive mobility options. Yiqian has a background in public administration and global studies, and has previously worked for NGOs in the fields of sustainability, climate change and European policies.

Sina Zhen

Officer, Sustainable Mobility

Sina supports the EcoLogistics Community project in the Sustainable Mobility team at ICLEI. Her previous professional experiences include transportation consulting, policy research and business development in the fields of electrification, automation, and shared mobility. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Mobility Management from the Technical University of Berlin and a BS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
