    Camilla Ween

    Director of Goldstein Ween Architects, Chair of Trustees of Spacelink Learning Foundation, Past-President of Women in Transport, United Kingdom

    Camilla is director of Goldstein Ween Architects where, as an architect and urban designer she focuses on sustainable cities and transportation. Camilla works at the intersection of city design and transport. Her work focuses on finding opportunities to expand transport briefs to include social inclusion, biodiversity and climate change mitigation, promotion of active travel and healthy lifestyles and improving the urban environment. She works extensively in UK and overseas; clients include UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, World Bank and leading consultancies. As a Built Environment Expert with UK Design Council, she advises on the quality of built environment proposals. She writes extensively on urban and transport issues; her books include Future Cities, Real Estate and Development in South America (co-author 2017) and is currently working on a companion volume Real Estate and Development in Central America and the Caribbean. She is also a regular lecturer at international universities and conferences.

    Garrett Wong is a Senior Sustainability Analyst for the City of Santa Monica. He leads policy, programs and projects in climate action & adaptation planning, energy efficiency and renewable energy and electric vehicle charging. He is responsible for the implementation of the City’s recently adopted Climate Action & Adaptation Plan and Electric Vehicle Action Plan.

    India Director, Clean Air Asia India

    Prarthana Borah is India Director of Clean Air Asia, an international not for profit headquartered in Manila working towards better air quality in over 1000 cities in Asia.

    Based in New Delhi, Prarthana leads the implementation of the India Strategy of Clean Air Asia, which includes working with cities to support the implementation of air action plans and communication /education for better air quality. She supervised the strategy for assessment of air quality management profiles of 30 Indian cities and has been responsible for conceptualizing policy support and capacity building programmes for better air quality in Indian cities. Presently Prarthana is leading Clean Air Asia’s India programmes where CAA facilitating air action in 6 cities, including two smart city missions that are emphasizing on non-motorized transport.

    An Environmental Sustainability Strategist with more than 20 years’ experience, Prarthana has been involved in environmental protection and sustainable development with specific interest in biodiversity conservation, air pollution and climate change. Prior to joining Clean Air Asia, she was the Team Lead at the Centre for Environment Education, India where she was involved in high level policy document preparation. She led the team for preparation of Government of India’s policy documents for COP21 in Paris and for the negotiation of the SDGs by Government of India at United Nations.
    Prarthana was also involved in education for sustainable development (ESD) for children and youth in different regions of India including the Indian Ministry of Environment and Forests’ first Climate Change Education programme, a project that is recognized by UNESCO as ESD best practice. More recently she is working with the UNICEF to prepare an air quality advocacy programme for school children to integrate air quality as a component of child friendly cities.
