WHAT IS GREATERBAYX?
GreaterBayX is a multi-partner accelerator program designed to support late-stage startups to scale into China through the Greater Bay Area in a bid to propel mobility and urban tech innovation into this US$1.5 trillion region. The program focuses primarily on business facilitation and investment. Selected startups will participate in a six-week remote program focused on strategic alignment and preparation followed by a two-week roadshow around key cities in the Greater Bay Area, such as Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Macau. The roadshow will comprise a series of events, workshops and facilitated business meetings. The program is organized by Greater Bay Ventures and TGN Global and is supported by the following partners: Asia Info, Hydata, HSBC, ITC, Microsoft, MTR, Siemens and TCL.
WHAT IS THE THEME OF THE PROGRAM?
GreaterBayX is looking for startups with technology, both software and hardware, that can positively impact urbanization with a specific focus on mobility. We are interested in the following four categories: autonomy, connectivity, infrastructure, energy and more.
Application examples: vehicle-to-grid platforms, wireless charging stations, real-time traffic data solutions, waste-reduction sensor technologies, fleet management systems, mobility-as-a-service, autonomous drive, and more.
WHAT TYPE OF STARTUPS SHOULD APPLY?
GreaterBayX is looking for mature startups with ideally at least USD 1M in revenue, unique
IP that is relevant in China / Asia, a solid product or service that is ready to scale and last but not least, a strong team.
