he Twelfth Session of the World Urban Forum WUF12, convened by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from 4 to 8 November 2024, returning to the African continent after more than 20 years after its inception in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2002.

ICLEI Sustainable mobility is organizing an exchange on active mobility in metropolitan areas. The exchange will include a study tour in Cairo for cities from the Metro Manilla region in the Philippines, as well as a panel discussion hosted by the German Pavillion. The open panel discussion will take place on 05 November 2024 at 13:30.
