The ITF 2025 Summit on Transport Resilience to Global Shocks will be from May 21 to 23 in Leipzig, Germany, with Chile serving as ITF President. The Summit will focus on how governments can keep transport systems running during disruptions like natural disasters, pandemics, cyber-attacks, and geopolitical crises. These events can cause delays, financial losses, and reduce public trust. The program, created with input from ITF’s 69 member countries and other partners, will cover three main topics:

User: Keeping transport systems safe, reliable, and well-communicated during disruptions.
Provider: Managing operations despite challenges like damaged infrastructure or staff shortages.
Governance and Financing: Building policies, partnerships, and funding to support resilient systems.
